Summer Book Reads

Summer Book Reads

I'm way more of an audio book girl these days. I think podcasts have spoiled me because why do a single activity like reading when you can do all the things PLUS get amazing advice/stories/coaching from your favorite podcasters and authors. Some books I've read, some are still on my list. My hope is that these offer you a variety of options to have a mini-vacation even if you never leave your house.

Self care and relaxation is always the pie in the sky I'm striving for. Reading is hard for me to commit to because it doesn't feel productive, but I'm daily learning that productive doesn't equal busy every time.

Where the Crawdads Sing
I was in a busy season at work when I started this, but as soon as I got into it, I couldn't put it down and had a few too many late nights. I'm hoping they make it into a movie because I'm the girl who loves movies made from books.

Mrs Everything
I'm loving the reviews and can't wait for my copy to arrive.

The Pioneers
I didn't enjoy history in school, but I can't get enough of historical novels. They do double duty of teaching me about the past while creating interesting characters and a little bit of drama.

Stay Sexy & Don't Get Murdered
Just the title makes you want to check it out, right? I'm not going to spoil it, so crack open the cover and take a peek.

Girl, Wash Your Face
Whether you're a fan or not, Rachel Hollis offers tons of practical advice and reminders we all need to hear.
